The following report was written at the end of the 2009 season…

“2009 saw a big change for the BUKC, with the introduction of the much threatened regional qualifying rounds. This means Birmingham had to battle with the North’s finest at the fabulour Warden Law circuit in Newcastle before taking to the track at Whilton Mill. The championship was much changed this year with the addition of new tracks, the dropping of favourites and the return of the hugely successful drivers championship. Unfortunately we weren’t able to improve on the previous years result of 7th finishing a lowly 17th overall.”
