BUKC

The British Universities Karting Championship, or the BUKC as it’s more affectionately known, is a privately ran, national karting championship using 2-stroke Rotax karts, supplied by Club100, the pioneers in Arrive and Drive 2-stroke karting.

Teams from universities all over the country race at some of best karting venues in Britain. Over 50 teams compete in the main championship and intermediate championship, with all races in the main championship being live streamed.

The University of Birmingham is well established in the series, fielding an A and a B team in the main 2022 championship, with a C and D team in the intermediate championship. The university has several race wins and silverware under our belt, along with winning the 2020 Clubman championship. You can see our highs (and lows) by reading our past season reviews.
